What Information Does This Site Collect?
Newsletter or Blog:
Becoming a member of the Excel at Gardening community signs you up for the Seed Library Newsletter. You can refuse to supply personal information, but that will exclude you from certain related activities such as receiving newsletters, blogs, and free offers. (see below how this information is used).
Subscribers may unsubscribe at any time. You may ask for all your data to be deleted at any time.
Great Pumpkin Contest:
If you enter the Great Pumpkin Contest, your name and email address and the contestants’ name and age are collected. Also, the pictures showing the progress of the contestants and their pumpkins with their first and last names and ages are collected and posted on excelatgardening.com and this information will also be shared on social media sites.
The winners of the contest will have their first and last names and age will appear on the Winners page and this information will also be shared on social media sites. By being a part of the Great Pumpkin Contest, you give your consent for your name and the contestants’ name to be listed on all social media sites such as Facebook, and Instagram.
Non-personal Information
This website may collect non-personal information about visitors when they interact with the site. This information may include the browser name, means of connection to the site, and other non-identifying information.

This website may use “cookies” to enhance the visitor experience. Typically, cookies may be placed on visitors’ hard drives for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. How Is the Information Used?
Newsletter subscribers’ names and emails will only be used for receiving the newsletters, the blog, or communication from the Jefferson Seed Library or Great Pumpkin Contest. Site visitors’ information may be used for the creation of other audiences through social media platforms.
Great Pumpkin Contest entrants will be sent emails only about the contest unless they also signed up for the newsletter or blog.
Information on which email links are clicked on the most will help Excel at Gardening choose links that interest readers in future emails.
Excel at Gardening may use affiliate codes in some of the emails or on this site.
Sharing of Personal Information
Subscriber information is never shared with a third party. The only exception is that email addresses may occasionally be used to create lookalike audiences for online marketing. This in no way distributes the emails or signs subscribers up to any other services.

Sometimes Excel at Gardening will include third-party links through email or on the website. These sites have their own policies and you should read those before subscribing or purchasing from them.

All information is saved by www.excelatgardening.com and only Excel at Gardening can access them. Should a data breach ever occur, subscribers will be notified within 7 days.
